Oxford Art Online reference database has art Subject Guides including General Overviews and Specialized Guides. They also have Teaching Resources and Timelines of World Art,

You can get to the Subject Guides from their homepage by going to the Tools and Resources link at the very top line of navigation on the page. I have put a red box around the link in the second screenshot in this post as well as red boxes around the Subject Guides, Teaching Resources, and Timelines of World Art.
